• Wincanton Transport is investing £200,000 in a computer package to cover parts and workshop management at its nine service and repair depots. The Dealennan computer system, supplied by Distributive Computer Systems, will run on IBM System 36 computers, each linked to the 1BM System 38 computer at Wincanton's head office.
Wincanton's depots at Aldermean in Wincanton, Cowley, Manchester and Darlaston have installed the system. The remaining five depots will follow in the next five months.
