DoE has this week lished The Code of tsce for the Carriage of oactive Materials by 1 (HMSO 80p). It suppleits the Radioactive aances (Carried by Road) at Britain) Regulations, 4 which came into ation last November 29. le Code allows users to orm with the 1973
Revised Edition of the International Atomic Energy Agency's Regulations (IAEA) for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Materials within Great Britain.
Minor editorial changes ars due to be made to the 1973 IAEA Regs, so an amendment to the Code of Practice will be published later this year.
