This is the first order for the Ailsa bus, which made its debut at the Scottish motor show last November. At least one other major order is understood to be under negotiation. Production of buses this year will now be 25 (the first 10 will be for the West Midlands, Glasgow and Tyneside PTEs) with a further total of about 100 schedules for next year.
