Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Two oil-fired cabinet air heaters added to the Tropical range by Boscombe Engineering Ltd. are the SX.120 and SX.300. Heat output capacities are 115,000 and 225,000 Btu per hour respectively, and the main applications include garages, workshops and offices.

There will be two variations of each type, one with louvred outlets for static free-standing use and the other with the facility for ducting to be connected to the heaters.

Air is heated by oil within the cabinet. It is distributed either by the duct system throughout the building or, with the free-standing unit, there is warm-air discharge in

multiple directions. major advantage over• conventional heating methods is that there are no water pipes to freeze and there is rapid response to a demand for heat as it only takes a few minutes for the warm air to become circulated; air is.expelled by a fan.

Among features incorporated in the heaters are a photo-electric cell to safeguard against ignition failures, protection against overheating by dual-limit control devices, double air filters which are accessible for simple cleaning and a stainless-steel heat exchanger for long life.

Axle weighbridges

The latest additions to the range of industrial weighing equipment to be announced by Ashworth Ross and Co. Ltd. are all-steel axle weighbridges. These have a 9ft by 2ft platform at ground level and an easy-to-read dial giving the axle loading—up to 15 tons—in 56Ib increments.

Alternative weight graduations or steelyarct.indicators are available if required and the complete installation requires a foundation depth of only 2ft 9in. The load-carrying structure supporting the platform incorporates universal-motion assemblies which protect the main knife edges against side thrust. All wearing parts are standardized and are easily renewable.
