Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE ROAD Haulage Association has told students that they should study properly for Certificate of Professional Competence examinations.

It says that the 82 per cent pass rate achieved by candidates trained by Group Training Associations in conjunction with the RHA and the Road Transport Industry Training Board emphasised the importance of prior study.

Of the 370 GTAtrained candidates, 304 (82.2 per cent) passed, but the overall pass rate for the national freight paper was 58.9 per cent. The pass rate for nonGTA trained students was under 50 per cent.

Four GTA's achieved a 100 per cent pass rate, and all groups used the RTITB's CPC training pack.
