Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DODGE 100-Series Cornmando vehicles were designed at the outset to be easy to maintain and service. Although a non-tilt cab was offered as an option during the first six months of the range's life, demand for it was so small that all trucks are now fitted with tilt cabs as standard.

Without doubt, the Chrysler tilt cab is one of the best on the market, tilting to a maximum of 45° in a matter of seconds; it is a simple oneman operation. Torsion bars and a substantial over-centre stay keep the cab in its tilted position.

However, for day to day checks of oil, water or clutch fluid levels, there is no need to raise the cab. Oil level is checked from inside the cab via a hinged flap on the engine cover. To the rear of the cab the coolant level is inspected by means of the cooling system header tank. Clutch fluid level is easily checked, again inside the cab, beneath a flap on the dash top.

The fuses for the Dodge 100Series are sensibly mounted inside the cab to the right of the steering column. To find out the best way of dealing with items which require less frequent attenttion, CM visited Castles of Leicester, a Dodge main dealer.
