• A new price for BOC Autogas — the company's name for LPG sold as a road vehicle fuel — became operative from July 3, the date on which excise duty on the fuel came into effect.
The new price is 5.45p per litre (equivalent to 24.8p per gallon), BOC having absorbed .82p per litre (equivalent to just over 3+p per gallon) of the new tax.
