Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Euromaster sent technician Mark Marsh, He is one of 1,000 mobile service vehicle operators in the UK. ATS inspects tyres on more than 50,000 commercial vehicles each month, with one-in-four vehicles needing a tyre service or a tyre replacing.

Most common issues are tyre-pressure adjustment, re-grooving, turning tyres on the rim to prolong its life, or repositioning tyres where tread or depths are mismatched on the same axle.

ATS Euromaster, like Michelin, cites missing valve caps as a primary cause of pressure leaks, and twin tyres without the necessary valve extensions as the most common reason for under-inflation.

• In a bid to help get the right air pressure in the tyres for fleets, ATS is offering a free audit for operators with 10 to 50 vehicles on their fleet Any work found in the audit, including pressure adjustments, re-grooving, twinning or turning of tyres on the rim, will be done free of charge.
