WARD MOTORS of Shepley near Huddersfield is now in receivership. The receiver was called in on December 19 and the company traded until the end of the year.
Although Ward Motors has now ceased trading and the workforce has been made redundant, efforts are being made by the Kirklees Development Corporation to find a buyer to take it over.
Ward can produce the Dalesman bus and coach chassis range and anyone interested in buying the concern as a unit should contact Mr B. Ward (no relation), chartered accountant, of Revell Ward, Norwich Union House, High Street, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
If no buyer can be found it is likely that the remaining assets of the company would be sold by auction,
