A sixth semi-trailer with Ratcliffe l'-ton elect r hydraulic tall-lift has be added to the Wilkins Transport Ltd fleet to he meet increased turnover Volvo car spares.
Motive power is provi by two F86 and two F Volvo tractive units.

At each delivery point. the driver uses a handoperated pallet truck to move pallets on the 1.38m (4ft 6in) long tail-lift platform and take them into the customers' premises.
He can use the tail-lift to separate any particular pallet from its stack with a three-tier stack on to the tail-lift platform, lowering it until the top base is level with the trailer's floor, and then pulling the top tier back on to the trailer.
