r-k A NEW tyre for commercial vehicles operating on normal road surfaces has been produced by the Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd.
Known as the Highway, it has a deep flat tread and continuous shoulder ribs. The groove design provides a high degree of traction, and there are reinforced buttressed shoulders to resist the effects of kerbing. New bead and clinch construction gives stability and resistance to rim chafing.
Another new Dunlop is the Power Grip, available in size 15.00-20-in, for use in quarries, open-cast coal sites and tiniber-felling sites.
