Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ANEW A.E.C. passenger chassis will be exhibited to overseas operators at the Brussels Salon, which opens on January 15. It is the Ranger, an export model which made its first appearance

at the,Baghdad Fair last year. •

The Ranger is basically a passenger version of the Mercury goods chassis and has a straight frame and a wheelbase of 16 ft. 3 in., making it suitable for coach bodywork. It will be seen on the stand of Van Hool, who have fitted the chassis with a coach body.

The standard Mercury chassis will in future be designated Monarch Mk: V for export purposes, but retains the name "Mercury" in this country.

Among the 82 different makes of vehicle being shown this year are chassis from Britain, U.S.A., France, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Czechoslovakia and the U.S.S.R. It is not yet known whether the Russian exhibit will include commercial-vehicle chassis or not.
