Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Two more well-known names in road transport hit the buffers last week as the decline in truck and trailer sales continues.

Bristol-based Foden dealer Forden Commercials went into receivership on Thursday with KPMG Peat Marwick McLintock in Clifton.

It is still operating under the receiver, with 25 staff remaining from the original 30 who were employed. A buyer is being sought for Forden, which has been a Foden dealer for over eight years and is the first in the Foden network to go into receivership.

On the same day Hoynor Specialised Trailers went into receivership with KPMG Peat Marwick McLintock's Cambridge branch.

Although 50 staff have been made redundant, the Braintree, Essex business is still trading with the remaining 30.
