NATIONAL BUS Company identity is to disappear completely from its buses in West Yorkshire PTE's area as they require to be replaced or repainted.
WYPTE's green livery will replace NBC red on West Riding, West Yorkshire Road Car, Yorkshire Woollen and Yorkshire Traction buses run on the jointly managed MetroNational routes in the county.
According to the PTE: "Public perception of the integrated passenger network has been hampered by the fact that NBC subsidiaries have retained their red livery. Now the anomaly, together with the confusion which has gone with it, will gradually be ironed out."
