Thank you for the CPC exam questions which appeared in CM, March 17. I am sure that future candidates for the exam will find them (and any more which are available) very helpful.

But I believe that there were printing errors in the answers for two of the questions. The first one was: in which one of the following situations might the purchaser request a credit note in his favour? Both answers A and B are the same — "the return to the purchase of damaged goods-.

The second one was: driver who are wholly engaged in the carriage of livestock may be or duty each day for —? Both C and D are the same at 12 hours.

R SALES, Dewsbury, W Yorks.

In fact the first two questions are nc the same — (a) is the return to the purchaser of damaged goods; (b) is the return by the purchaser of damaged goods.

In the second question, (c) is 12 hours, and question (d) should have been 14 hours — Ed.
