In view of the generally recognized state of depression in shipbuilding throughout the world, it is interesting to note how the motor ship continues to grow in popularity. According to the April number of The Motor Slap, the tonnage of motor vessels launched during March was far greater than any previous month, whilst orders were placed for new mo&or ships of 158,000 tons, which is believed to be a record for any month.
