An election of new members and students of the Institute of Metals will take place on April 22nd, particulars of which can be obtained from the secretary, Mr. G. Shaw Scott, 36, Victoria. Street, London, S.W.1. The election is arranged in connection with the 15th annual May lecture, which is to be given by Prof. H. A. Lorentz, of Leiden, Holland, on May 6th, tickets for which can also be obtained from the secretary. The subject of the lecture, which should prove of great interest, is "The Motion of Electricity in Metals."
