It has been decided by the Stalybridge, Hyde, Mossley and Dukinfield Tramways and Electricity Board to purchase four motorbuses, in order to institute a road service between Hyde and Woolley Bridge, which will connect the board's system of tramways with the' cars running into Glossop. The service is in the nature of an experiment, and it is hoped that it will provide sufficient data to enable the board to form definite opinions as to the merits of motrobuses generally.
