• Management has bought the Parkfield Group's vehicle chassis division for 21m, and named it United Pressings and Fabrication. UPF manufactures steel wheels for trucks, buses and off-road vehicles.
Donations needed

• G Eley Transport is offering a £1,000 reward for information leading to conviction following theft of a 36-tonne Weightlifter trailer stolen from Boughton Industrial Estate, 011erton, Notts. The triaxle — chassis nuruber 1370 — was taken in the early hours of 2 September.
