Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• RENOWNED DEVILBISS ATOMISATION QUALITY • HIGH QUALITY FINISHES SUP 10 25% PAINT SAVINGS *RAPID APPLICATION RATES • VERSATILE TROLLEY OR BELT OUTFITS • IMPROVED WORKING CONDITIONS•USES EXISTING COMPRESSED AIR SUPPLY

New versions of DeVilbiss' DuoTech high efficiency, low pressure spray system are now available for commercial vehicle painting. Amazingly, DuoTech can save workshops between 20 and 25% on paint costs.

But how?

DeVilbiss DuoTech, using standard compressed air, gives an astonishing improvement in transfer efficiency resulting in significant savings in material costs — without any compromise on finish quality or application speeds.

To achieve this breakthrough, DeVilbiss have utilised the well-known virtues of highvolume low-pressure spraying, but without the drawbacks. DeVilbiss experience in atomisation technology hassefined the process and created a totally new highefficiency system that is both user and environment friendly.

What special equipment is required?

For operator convenience the system is fed from a single air line and there are two main options of a portable trolley-mounted outfit or a totally independent belt-mounted system. The trolley-mounted version can be supplied with either a two gallon material tank or a DeVilux diaphragm pump. Both the belt and trolley mounted outfits can be supplied complete with air regulator, spray gun, cup, tank or pump and the operator's choice of air-fed face vizor or half mask.

What is the benefit of using low pressure?

The reduced spray fog gives a better, cleaner operator environment and reduces maintenance where spray booths are in use.

Less overspray equals happier operators plus the paint savings!

How suitable is DuoTech for commerical vehicles?

Ducach will equal the quality and speed of conventional air-atomised systems on large body areas. On chassis areas, even greater paint savings can be achieved through the reductions in overspray.

DuoTech is suitable for the whole range of commercial vehicle paints, including the latest 2-pack isocyanates, synthetics and waterborne materials.

A key component of the DuoTech low pressure system is DeVilbiss' new spray gun, the JGITV. Retaining the same 'fit and feel' as the well-known JGA gun, the JGHV has been developed to provide soft, wellatomised patterns at pressures from 10 to 15

psi and at fluid flow rates up to 400ccimin to match current application requirements. The gun has stainless steel-lined fluid passages and a spreader control ring at the gun head gives a full range of patterns from round to fan. There is a choice of three air cap, fluid tip and needle combinations.

All this is why DeVilbiss claim DuoTech to be a new beginning in spray finishing. It offers a way to gain significant operational economies. But there's no compromise on quality of finish and speed of application. It's just the thing for commercially-minded sprayers!
