FIFTEEN regional waste committees are being formed as part of a plan of co-operation announced last week by the RHA and the National Association of Waste Disposal Contractors.

The new Joint Waste Committees, formed from the membership of the two Associations, will be responsible for direct liaison with all county council waste disposal planning off, icers and the water authorities in their areas. Each committee will be based from one of the RH A's area offices.
