Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE FIRST production Euro-6 Mercedes-Benz Actros has rolled off the production line in Wörth, Germany. The culmination of 10 years’ development, 20 million kilometres of testing and 2,600 hours in the wind tunnel, the new Actros is, according to Daimler CEO Dr Dieter Zetsche, as significant to the truck industry as Apple’s iPhone was to the mobile phone market. More than €2bn has been invested in bringing the new Actros to market.

Zetsche, who drove the first Actros off the production line, says: “We want to grow much faster than the market as a whole and sell more than 500,000 trucks in 2013. The Actros will play a key role in helping us to drive up sales.” The 2011 allocation of the new Actros has already been sold, and Mercedes says order levels for the first quarter of 2012 are encouraging. Around 100 new Actros, in both Euro-5 and Euro-6 guise, will arrive in the UK as demonstrator vehicles, with the first customer vehicles expected to hit the UK next year. Pricing for the Euro-6 will be around €10,000 more than the Euro-5 models.
