Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Passenger Lift Services has moved into the commercial field with a tail-lift designed for light panel vans.

Based on the PLS wheelchair lift, the electro-hydraulic unit weighs 145kg and is rated at 300kg. The platform measures 730x1,200mm; large enough for boxed white goods.

Rather than being internally mounted or folding up across the rear doors, the £2,000 unit telescopes neatly into an external housing between the rear chassis members. The lift can also be side-mounted (to suit refrigerated vehicles), but at 175mm deep it is not suitable for low-floor front-wheel

drive panel vans.

PLS also offers a lift that incorporates a tow-hitch, and the Warleybased firm has a mobile installation service.
