Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Commercial Motor Workshop Conference and Exhibition, held in Telford on 21 and 22 September. As well as listening to a wide range of presentations, your correspondent was also privileged to watch as some of the leading figures in the CV maintenance did their stuff in our "Spot the Fault Competition", in the main exhibition hall. The challenge it set the delegates was: how many faults can you find on a bruised and battered Leyland Buffalo 2? The answer was quite a few. The benchmark figure of 58 faults was scored by Keith Buckley of the FTA and our observant winners, Messrs Rowe and Wikes of BRS (Midlands), discovered a grand total of 41 on their way back from lunch. For their mammoth effort they each received a bottle of champagne.

The Hawk is in two minds, however, whether to believe the persistent rumours that many of our distinguished visitors wanted the poorly Buffalo for use in their fleets!
