FORMER Blackwood Hodge managing director Stuart EdenSmith is now marketing director with Lyka, the Preston-based manufacturer of lorry-mounted cranes.
His career in the road transport industry began with Leyland, he moved then to Sentinel (the Shrewsbury company taken over by Rolls-Royce in the Fifties), Atkinson (before Seddon took It over), and he moved to commercial vehicle distributor Scott's of Nottingham. It was taken over later by Blackwood Hodge.
