Group Ltd. and how are these divided between the UK and overseas?
A Obviously with a group of this size there
are continuing fluctuations but the totals given in the Group's last annual report are as follows: UK 4,317, Western Europe 219 and Australia 149; total 4,685.
TDG's UK vehicles are sub-divided as follows: Southern area 1,448, Northern area 1,316, and Scottish area 1,553.
Besides its road haulage vehicles, TOG has also considerable interest in lighterage craft, warehouses and cold stores. Its total number of employees is about 11,700. •
