Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FUEL FIRM BP has won a threeyear contract with J Sainsbury to supply and distribute fuel to the supermarket's service stations.

The contract had been handled by TDG in the south and east of the country and Wincanton in the south-west, north and Scotland, it was another contract that it inherited following its takeover of P&O TransEuropean.

Around 60 drivers from TDG and 30 from Wincanton will transfer to BP under TUPE regulations when the contract starts in January. Ills understood that talks with the two unions involved, URTU and the T&G, are still ongoing to complete the transfer.

However, one union insider says:"A lot of drivers don't want to work for 132 but they seem desperate for drivers so I guess they need us. The turnaround and [delivery] times they are given are quite tight — we think ours are bad, but theirs are a lot worse."

Drivers on the Sainsbury contract are also believed to be owed a pay rise from last August.
