Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I watched the recent news on the Trans-Action protest and noticed that farmers and taxidrivers are now taking part.

I myself am an owner-driver of a 14ft Transit Luton van. We also operate hire vans, as and when needed. Although we do not operate heavy trucks, we still have to buy diesel. We still wait up to 90 days to get paid. We still have cash-flow problems. Admittedly VED is not a huge problem for us, but we certainly care about the UK haulage industry and do not want to see jobs lost in our industry to foreign competitors.

We still have to buy diesel, like the farmers, cabbies, etc, and we support Trans-Action.

We are now paying 10p a litre more for diesel than before the Budget, with the Chancellor's 6p increase followed immediately by two more 2p rises.

Which brings me to my next point; surely there must be other van drivers/operators, owner-drivers or fleets, who could help, by means of protest, lobbying etc, to support the goals of TransAction. Does anyone agree?
