• in-cab security company Protekdor is launching an initiative to help combat the increasing number of attacks on lorry drivers in their cabs.

Known as ROAD (Research On Attacked Drivers), the initiative aims to gather as much information as possible about violence against truck drivers, and Protekdor is appealing to any drivers who have been attacked in their cabs to get in touch.

All intelligence gained through ROAD will be used to improve public knowledge of the crime and evaluate whether the Industry is dealing with it. All details will remain confidential.
