Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Kingswood, Bristol

SEVEN trolley jacks in the Westinghouse range of garage equipment cater for lifting capacities from 1.5 to 15 tons. All jacks are tested to a 50 per cent overload before leaving the factory and they incorporate a pressure valve which prevents the jack being operated if it is loaded to excess.

The jacks have a pair of fixed wheels at the lifting-pad end and two castors close to the operating handle and the minimum height of the pad varies from 4,75in. to 7in. according to capacity. Maximum heights of the pads are similar—from 20 to 23in. except for one highlift model which goes up to 3ft. 1.5in. The smallest jack weighs 851b. while the 10and 15-ton capacity models weigh 4201b. each.
