handling equipment has been placed by Ellermans Wilson Line. The equipment, which will be used at its King George Dock terminal, Hull, includes a Portalift, five Tugmaster tractors and nearly 60 skeletal roll-trailers for 2laft and 30ft containers.
The Wilson Line's Filipsted terminal at Oslo is similarly equipped; its Portalift was the first of its kind in Norway.
MAFI, a leading European manufacturer of container handling and transport equipment, has recently announced that it has completed an agreement whereby British Railways Engineering will manufacture containers to MAFI designs in the UK.
