GLASGOW bus and Underground fares go up by more than 30 per cent on Sunday. The application for the increase was by the Traffic Commissioners on May 30. Chairman Alex Birnie described the rises as " scaring " and said they had reached the decision with heavy hearts. This is the third increase the Greater Glasgow PTE has made since last August.
