• MAN Volkswagen has won an order from Wheel Van and Truck Rentals for more than £1 million.
The London-based spothire company has ordered 30 MAN G90 7.5-tonners, 30 VW LTs and four Optan City Pacer tnidibuses.
Monopoly stays
• Another attempt by Tory backbenchers to end the Post Office letters monopoly failed by a majority of 84 votes last week. The bill was put forward by Anthony Coombs who attacked the Post Office for its strike record and service, claiming second class postage had become "a fairunfunny joke."
L..1 Complaints about Post Office services rose 43% last year, says the Post Office Users' Council's annual report.
