Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The Smiths engine hours meter.

The six-digit display engine hours meter from Smiths has a solid-state electronic drive and is self-starting even on a gradual 12 or 24V rise.

The company claims it needs no further lubrication, cannot rust and is vibration, water and tamper proof. Smiths say the 12/24 dc movement is accurate in working environments from minus 40deg to plus 70deg C and the meter can withstand voltage spikes as large as 500V. Made by: Smiths Industries Ltd, Industrial Instrument Division, Waterloo Road, Cricklewood, London NW2 7UR.
