At a farewell function last week Mr. George Brook, general manager of the North Western Road Car Co., Ltd., received presentations on behalf of members of the staff of all grades and separate presentations from the bus station staff at Manchester and the employees' social club at Macclesfield. At a luncheon on the same day, company officials made their own presentation to him. Mr. Brook took up his new position as general manager of Ribble Motor Services, Ltd., on Monday last.

After more than 54 years' service with Fodens, Ltd., Sandbach, Cheshire, Mr. A. H. L. Thompson, publicity officer, will retire on July 13. He will be succeeded by Mr. C. Pass.
