BUS services came under the scrutiny of the Transport and I Research Laboratory last year in two projects.

"Simulation Studies of Bus Operating and Control of Lot Transport Route 11" and "The Effect of Free Public Transpo the Journey to Work" are the titles of reports recently publi concerning the projects. Conclusions drawn from the TRRL simulation studies c route 11, which were commissioned to assess the potential N of bus control systems by considering four strategies, sill that passenger waiting time, the number of bus headwz excess of 15 minutes and the number of buses more tha minutes late can all be reduced by new control strategies.
