Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

would get nothing of the kind to compensate.

I am married to a lorry driver and I feel that getting up at 6am is quite early enough. While l do not resent these early mornings, I most certainly do resent the statements made about a lorry driver having his eyes "on his bonus and on an early finish.'

The reason they do stand 30 tons of lorry and load on its nose is thoughtless bus drivers and others, who simply pull out, not when the lorry is well past the near half of the bus. That is the time chosen for the bus to pull out without, of course, worrying about such minor details as a signal or even a glance in the mirror. No wonder bus drivers bring out roost other motorists, not just lorry drivers, into a nervous sweat.

In reply to Mr Temple's letter, I would like to say that, while I sympathise with his view that there are both good and bad lorry drivers as well as bad bus drivers, he would surely have to agree that, for the most part, bad lorry drivers are a result of much frustration caused by the need to play "dodgems" or "bumper cars" with bus drivers.

I feel it is quite impossible for buses to exist happily with lorries without a good deal of give and take on both sides, but also that most adjustment has to be made by the bus drivers, as they really seem to be totally unaware of all the other vehicles.

I hope this letter is

published, as I would like to hear the views of other wives on this subject, or the views of drivers (not just hgv and psv drivers).
