ANSPORT Minister [ham Rodgers has decided voceed as soon as possible h the construction of the 0 between Ashford and kestone, Kent.
:ommenting on the deci i Mr Rodgers said: "I have ?.xamined the case for this eme, along with others in trunk road programme, in light of the White Paper on .nsport Policy, where we rnised to give priority to iortant routes to ports and the regional needs of the ith East, which has had to t its turn for resources for d building.
This scheme meets both of se priorities. It will also vide relief to the villages of indge and Cheriton along existing A20 route."
