New Michelin depots

A MAJOR reorganisation of Michelin's operation in London has taken place with the opening of two new branch and depot premises at Edmonton and Merton. Their combined capacities exceed West Ham, Catford, South Kensington and Tolworth depots, which have now been closed.

The North London branch, Fulham Road and West Ham depot operations have been combined and are now at new premises in Eley's Estate, Angel Road, Edmonton, NI8, and the South London branch, Area Office, Catford and Totworth depot operations are now combined at new premises in Deer Park Road; Merton, SW19.

A CALL for tanker drivers to be compelled to use a new road linking oil installations on the banks of the Mersey near Eastham with the main A41 Birkenhead to Chester road is being made by local organisations at Eastham.

The new £290,000 access road is being built to divert heavy traffic from the narrow roads through Eastham Village.

F. W. WHEATLEY Trailers Ltd, of Peterborough has changed its name to Hestair Wheatley Ltd, following the recent acquisition of the company by Hestair Ltd. The company's address, telephone number and telex number will remain unchanged.
