. Cartwrights of Altrincham, Cheshire has built what it claims are the biggest cubic capacity trailers in the UK.
The two double-deck 13.6mlong semis have 110m3 of cube. They have been bought by Transfleet and will be operated by Glass Glover on an Asda contract. The swan-neck trailers are 4.87m high and have a fixed second deck at 1.9m. They will be based at the supermarket chain's clothing distribution centre at Ince-in-Makerfield, Greater Manchester.
