IT Ordnance Depot, Leics, were among the objectors at Nottingham when Roy's Motors (Nottingham), Ltd., applied to the East Midland Traffic Commissioners to run an express service from the city to the depot. They were also opposed by the previous operator, Mr. G. S. Fuller, and Leicestershire County Council.
The workers complained that they had previously travelled in a single-decker. but Roy's Motors intended to use a double-deck vehicle on the route. Therefore, they would not enjoy the same standard of comfort and the journey would be slower.
Mr. C, Hodgson, chairman, said the application would be granted.
