Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Mr C B Ward and Ward Associates need not fear (CM November 15). The amendment we made to the Operator Licensing Regulations in August had no effect on ADR. Any journey in which dangerous goods are moved by road across international frontiers remains covered by ADR, even though for 'Cr licences purposes, the UK leg may be a national operation. Similarly, any such journey continues to be 'international' for purposes of the drivers' hours rules.
