A WOMAN in South Tipperary who wished to join a CIE coach tour from Dublin via Tipperary to County Kerry wanted to avoid wasting time and money in travelling unnecessarily through the capital. She expected to pay the full charge from Dublin but wanted to board the coach at some point on the route to be nominated by CIE, Eire's state transport undertaking. But that was impossible.
"First," the man said, "you might not wait for the coach. Secondly, the driver might forget to stop."
