ACCORDING to a Leyland Vehicles' market prediction, made with only a few days of November remaining, vehicle registrations (3.5 tons plus} will be 3,900— the lowest on record.

Looking further ahead, the Leyland survey predicts a 1980 total of 62,000 registrations with another significant drop to 51,000 in 1981.

For the basis of comparison, the 1979 figure in the 3.5 tons plus category was 79,800.
