A LIGHTWEIGHT version of th Ten-Plus demountable bad' baseframe has been developel by Ray Smith Demountables Lti of Peterborough, expressly to refrigerated bodies which ar built from one-piece panels a grp/ply.

The design is claimed to talc' advantage of the inheren strength associated with thesr sandwich panels when used fo floor and body sides.

The weight-saving has beer achieved by using lighter mak runners and side raves, and re ducing the number of floo cross-bearers.
