BALL Components Ltd of Leek Staffordshire, has developed i device that enables Leyland Er gomatic cabs to be tiltec quickly. These embrace cab!
fitted to Buffalo, Bison, Octopu: and Lynx vehicles built fron 1974 onwards.
Cab tilting and locking dowi normally takes 25 to 30 minute on these models, but with thi Quick Tilt fitted, this time is re duced to less than two minutes claims Ball Components.
The units can be fitted in thre and a half hours and full fittin■ instructions are provided witl each set. Some existing Leylant parts are used in the installatio including the turret brackets, th cab mounting bracket bolts, an mounting rubbers.
The new cab lock consists of cam-operated clamp arrange merit, the tension of which ca be adjusted.
