NOTTINGHAM City Transport is experimenting with a seat covering material developed for use on British Railways. The worsted material has a blue and white livery and is being tried on the ground floor seats of a double-decker. As well as reducing noise levels, the material 'is said to stay remarkably clean. It has been in service for three months.
