THORN YCROFT ,FIRE-CRASH TENDERS FOR AIR MINISTRY: A total of 21 Thornycroft Nubian fire-crash tenders has been ordered by the Air Ministry to the design developed in conjunction with the Ministry of Civil Aviation. The vehicles are six-wheelers, powered by 197 b.h.p. highspeed petrol engines.
