Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• TNT Roadfreight has branched out into yet another distribution sector with the launch of TNT Extracare, a delivery service aimed at the fragile freight market.

TNT Extracare will use a fleet of up to 300 vehicles, with some from its Road Express division, operating between TNT's existing UK depots — but not its Atherstone parcels hub. Delivery options will include same-day, next-day, two-day and three-day guaranteed delivery. Customers will also be able to ask for two-man delivery crews as well as weekend or night-time delivery.

TNT Extracare general manager Ian Beveridge says the company is attracting companies seeking extra security and care in handling, with minimum handling ensured by direct trunking from the customer to the point of installation. Extracare will operate between manufacturers, wholesalers and retail outlets.

According to Beveridge, Extracare will build on the success of TNT in the parcels market, but utilising a completely different concept in moving the goods, offering even more care in handling furniture, white goods and fragile products.

Extracare also aims to win business carrying household electrical products, computers and photographic equipment.

Extracare has the backing of TNT's computer network, allowing its customersto keep track of their goods in transit.
