THE THIRD Accessories and Components Exhibition, sponsored by CM last week, attracted almost 3,000 visitors.
This was an increase on last year of almost 200.
Exhibitors at ACE reported that they had a number of "substantial" inquiries. ACE is an exhibition designed for the industry — those who have something to sell and those who want to buy.
The concept of ACE was summed up by one exhibitor, who said: "The visitors at ACE are real. We do not want 'tyre kickers', we want buyers and that is what this exhibition gives us."
It is planned to make ACE bigger next year and it will continue to be an exhibition for the industry.
